How to Access the Georgia Tech Foundation donor portal as a non-Alumni donor

Note: These instructions are specifically for people who are donors to Georgia Tech but not Alumni. For directions on logging in as an Alum please click HERE. 


Navigate to the login Page: https://myportal.gtf.gatech.edu/donorportal/home



Complete the Guest Account Request form to notify the Georgia Tech Foundation that you would like to access your personal financial information. We will verify your account within 5-7 business days. If the contact information we have on file is outdated, we may contact you for further verification. Please be on the lookout for the next email. 


Once your account has been verified you will receive two emails. One will resemble the below and confirm the creation of your donor portal guest account. It will give instructions on the next steps. 


The second will be titled Set your GT guest account password and contain your GT username and link to reset your guest account password. 

After selecting the link, you will be redirected to the below page where you will be prompted to create and confirm your new password.


Your new password MUST meet the following criteria: 

  • Must be between 11 and 64 characters in length.
  • Must contain characters from at least 3 character classes.
  • Cannot contain any part of your name nor your GT Account username.
  • Can only contain characters printed on the computer's keyboard.



After updating your new password that meets the requirements, you will see the below progress bar load on the screen showing that your Password is being updated.


Followed by a confirmation message that your password has been changed. 



Now that you have your GT Account username that was provided via the email and the password that you just created. It is time to login to the portal. Navigate to the login page: 

 https://myportal.gtf.gatech.edu/donorportal/home



Select Sign in with GT Georgia Tech and enter the provided user name and the password you just created. You are now logged into the portal. 



If you have trouble or are unable to reset your Password, call the Technology Support Center at 404-385-1111 to have your password reset over the phone.
